I never believed in ghosts but this picture changed everything. There appears to be the face of a woman behind the window. What is frightening about this is that at in the same room a pregnant woman had committed suicide. I am from the Philippines and we believe in a form of ghost called a Pontianak - which literally mans childbearing ghost.

The woman who committed suicide had been raped and we believe that her spirit returns on the same date every year to seek revenge on her rapists.

The belief in the Pontianak ghost is common throughout South East Asia. The Pontianak is usually considered to be the spirit of a woman who died during childbirth. Sometimes she can look very beautiful, but most of the time she has razor teeth and stalks the night in search of pregnant women or suckling babies.

Some say that the Pontianak cannot bear the thought of other women being able to enjoy motherhood. The Pontianak is also a vampire spirit that sucks the blood from babies and their mothers.

Truly a gruesome picture but sadly it's a fake that did it's rounds by email!! Better luck next time.
