Spiritualists and mediums are divided about the worth of psychic protection. Some argue that is we work in a loving way and if our motives and thoughts are correct then no spirit can enter the aura of the medium. They claim that darkness cannot penetrate the light.

For this reason many mediums believe that there is no need for psychic protection methods, ritual;s or even prayers. If you work with the light you need never fear the dark.

Id do however teach my students a form of psychic protection in that I ask them to close close the aura after working mediumistically. Of course you cannot really close the aura or your life force would stop... you'd be dead!! However you can reduce your sensitivity and protect yourself from the negative vibrations of the people around you.
