Spooky Monk
YOUR TRUE GHOST STORIES
  At about 4.00 in the morning I was awoken from
a deep sleep by a strong feeling that there was somebody in my bedroom.
I felt that I was being watched. The room was cold. Slowly I turned
my head and saw the shadowy form of a monk stood beside my bed.
He was
standing with his head bowed and arms folded at waist level. Inside
the hood there was just darkness. As I sat up the figure faded away.
I have no idea what this was all about but am sure that I didn't imagine
any of this. Can you explain it?

CRAIG'S ANSWER:
  I wish that I could explain this one adequately as so many people
write to say that they've seen the same thing. We live on a site
that was once a monastery.
My wife tells me that the ghost of a
monk appeared in our living room in front of her skeptical brother
who was pooh poohing our work.
He was so scared by what he saw that
he went to church every day for a week afterwards. Many mediums believe that monks and nuns continue their spiritual work in the
afterlife as guardians of the living. |
