SCHOOL GHOST
PARANORMAL SIGHTING IS RELATIVE COINCIDENCE
In 1983, I was teaching at a school in Oldham where for years there’d been rumours of a ghost.
Shortly before the school closed for good there were several sightings by colleagues and cleaners; always in the evening when the children had gone home.
During the last week of term, a reception was being held for former pupils. Suddenly, the ghost’s spitting image was seen in the form of a sprightly 80-year-old chatting over tea and biscuits.
It turned out that this cheerful pensioner’s father had been the school caretaker in the early 1900’s and was probably the ghost. Could his father, who’d died many years before, been disturbed by the school’s impending closure? Had he somehow manifested himself?

Usually ghosts are caused by vibrations that are recorded on the ether and are only seen by sensitive people. Very rarely is a ghost conscious. However, the spectre you saw may be the spirit continuing the same routine he loved. He had a job for life and beyond! |
