Seventy years ago, when I was eight years old, I had a terrifying experience. I was in bed when I saw the ghost of MYSELF approaching the bed! I could see me from the waist up and dived under the blankets and stayed there all night, awake, almost suffocated until daylight.
I don’t mention it to anyone now, as I get the standard reply, “you were hallucinating or dreaming”. But this was no hallucination. I know what I saw. Can there be any explanation for what happened?
