GREY LADY GHOST
THE GHOST ON THE STAIRS
I’d just finished a terrible row with my husband when he stormed off to begin his nightshift. It may have been caused by the fact that I was in the late stages of pregnancy and we were both fairly touchy.
As soon as he’d gone, I turned to go upstairs to bed. My little wirehaired terrier ran ahead of me, but half way up the stairs she started to growl and the fur on her back stood up. Then I saw what was bothering her. The ghost of a woman dressed in grey was blocking my way up the stairs. She looked a little like the Virgin Mary.
She touched me and said “It will be all right” Then she vanished.
The next day I went into labour and had my son 5 weeks early.

We will never know for certain who the ghost was. Perhaps it was the spirit of a family member, a spirit guide or even the Virgin Mary. The important thing is that she came at the right time and reassured you. Interestingly, many women have psychic experiences during pregnancy and childbirth. I would be interested to hear from readers who can confirm this. |
