SPIRIT GIVES HER THE COLD SHIVERS
In 1994, I was visiting my best friend in southern California for a week. One night, she and I decided to have some fun, and experimented with her Ouija board. I don't know if either of us believed that anything would happen, but I think we were hopeful of some "ghostly activity".
We took turns asking questions, most of which I have now forgotten. However, I remember asking if the spirit was sitting next to me. It replied yes. I felt nothing to my left or to my right. The room was relatively warm, but suddenly immediately to my right, there was a cold spot, which froze me to the bone. I looked at my friend, and whispered, "It's freezing!" The next morning, my friend and I were downstairs, alone in the house, when we heard footsteps from upstairs. We listened for a few minutes, and then decided to go outside, and come back later!

You were lucky that you had nothing more frightening happen other that a few spooky footsteps. I know of many cases where playing around with the ouija board had led to serious problems. In one case, a participant became so frightened that they took their own life. In the hands of a well-trained medium ouija boards can be a useful tool but beware if you use them ‘just for fun’. |
